Reactivating Tokanui Crossroads Hall

Background

The Tokanui Crossroads Hall, also known as the Te Kawa Crossroads Hall, has long been a gathering point for the community. However, in recent years, its use has declined, and the once bustling venue has seen fewer activities and events. Recognizing the importance of this facility, the Ōtorohanga District Council and Sport Waikato have partnered with the Hall Committee to explore ways to breathe new life into the hall and ensure it remains a valuable asset for the community.

The collaboration between the Hall Committee, the Ōtorohanga District Council, and Sport Waikato aims to identify strategies to activate the hall and encourage community engagement. Whether it's through hosting more events, sports activities, or community meetings, the goal is to make the Tokanui Crossroads Hall a thriving hub once again.
