We’re looking for volunteers to join the Creative Ōtorohanga Communities Committee who help us distribute funding to artists and makers across our district to help their projects come to life. This Committee reads the applications in advance and then deliberates together in person at bi-annual meetings held in our Council Chambers, in Ōtorohanga.

NOMINATIONS OPEN 11-22 MARCH 2024

  • Do you love the arts?
  • Can you champion everything creative- from painting, to carving, weaving, poetry, music, acting, dancing, singing, writing, photography, theatre, and sculpture….?
  • Are you interested in reading through multiple creative grant applications?
  • Do you have access to a computer and are you comfortable working on one?
  • Are you available every six months around April and October each year?
  • Are you not likely to be applying for the grants yourself?
